middle school bound

Hello Friends and Fellow Bloggers,

Today I would like to share some really great news with all of my fans and followers. After 7 wonderful years of teaching elementary school I will be moving to the Warwick Valley Middle School to teach there full time. I am extremely excited and while it is no easy feat to leave the incredibly talented young artists of the elementary school I know that I will see them in a few short years and get to teach them at an even more advanced level!

This will be my first time teaching Middle School and I am generating so many lesson ideas and being inspired by new artists and techniques each and every day. As I develop my new curriculum I am asking for your help and looking forward to your input. If you are a Middle School art teacher, artist, Middle School student, or creative spirit and have ideas for lessons that you would like to share with me I would love to hear from you. I am always open to new ideas so as I begin this new adventure come along and see all the amazingly advanced and fun things I will experience with my new and older talented young artists this year 2010-2011, my first year as a Middle School art teacher! YAY!

I hope everyone is enjoying summer and keep making great art!!!

Be Well and Enjoy!

  1. Congrats on your new position. I think you will have my nephew in your new school. I am an art teacher for K-8 at a private school in New Jersey, just 45 minutes from Warwick. Would love to share ideas with you.
